China's aluminum industry has developed rapidly, and the current output of primary aluminum has reached 3.57 million tons. However, due to China's large population, the current per capita consumption is only 2.9KG, while the per capita aluminum consumption in the United States is 29KG and the per capita aluminum consumption in Japan is 23.8KG, which is far higher than China's per capita consumption. Therefore, China's aluminum and its alloys have broad consumption prospects. In addition, China's recycled aluminum industry has developed rapidly in recent years and is in the take-off stage. With the development of automobile, motorcycle, construction and packaging industries, the use and output of recycled aluminum are increasing year by year, and the recycled aluminum industry will develop more rapidly. Waste aluminum cans are one of the important raw materials for recycled aluminum!
China is a country with a high recycling rate of waste aluminum cans in the world, with almost no waste. At the same time, my country is also a country with a low level of utilization of waste aluminum cans in the world. The recycled waste aluminum cans (including imported waste aluminum cans) are used at a lower grade. At the same time, due to the poor equipment foundation and low technical level of many enterprises, serious environmental pollution, high cost and poor product quality are caused.
The recycling method of aluminum cans is divided into 4 steps:
1. Crushing: The shape of the recycled waste aluminum cans has been destroyed, and some imported waste aluminum cans have been lumped. Therefore, before removing the paint, they need to be crushed.
2. Paint removal: loose aluminum cans (including crushed aluminum cans) are directly put into the paint removal kiln for paint removal. The temperature of the rotary kiln is controlled at about 500℃;
3. Packing: aluminum cans are very thin and have a large burnout during the smelting process, some of which can reach more than 10%. In order to improve the aluminum smelting recovery rate, it is necessary to minimize the surface area of the cans and reduce the burnout. Therefore, the loose aluminum cans after decarbonization should be packed and compacted by a hydraulic baler;
4. Melting: The pre-treated aluminum cans enter the smelting furnace for smelting.
